Everyone wanted this and it’s finally here

People have been asking for a free to use AI tool that can generate impressive videos from a text prompt for some time.

A Chinese tool called KIing was released recently but unless you are in China you won’t be able to access it right now. Open AI who brought Chat GPT to the world, will not yet make their video generation tool called Sora available to the public due to security concerns.

Luma AI had to increase their server capacity tenfold such was the demand for it so you really should take it for a test drive and see what you think.

What does it do: It creates stunning looking videos based on text prompt.

Why I like it: It is simple to use, free and the quality of the output is really impressive

What can it do in 5 minutes or less: It can create a 5 second video based on your prompt. There is huge demand on their servers at the moment and the generation process takes a minute or so. But the results are usually incredible. Make sure that your prompt is as detailed and precise as possible for best results.

How to Try It:

1. Sign up at the URL provided above.

2. Enter your prompt and click on the arrow. Then just wait a minute or so and your video is ready. Simple as that!

You get 30 free video creations on the free plan which is quite generous. The only limitation is the 5 second duration of the video. However, if you use your imagination you can knit together some of those short clips into something cool using a video editor. Many people are using this tool to modify memes too.
